SideBy Privacy Policy

In Turkish, SideBy is called Yanımda. SideBy is an emotional diary for families, partners and friends. You record whether you feel anxious or happy and how much (0–10), and you can choose to share this with people close to you. SideBy is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.

The short version

• Your entries are stored on your own devices and, if you use My circle, in your own iCloud. We do not run servers and we do not receive your data.
• Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
• No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no selling of data.

What SideBy stores, and where

On your iPhone (and paired Apple Watch) SideBy stores: profile names and age groups; your entries (feeling, level, optional reason you choose or type, time, whether it was entered on the watch); "I need to talk" signals; and the people you add under "Who should hear me?" (relation, optional name and phone number). This data stays on the device and is protected by iOS data protection.

Sharing with people you choose

When you send an entry or an invitation, SideBy opens Messages, WhatsApp or another app you pick, with the text filled in. You see the message and decide whether to send it. The message is then handled by that app and its provider, under their privacy terms. SideBy does not send anything in the background.

My circle (iCloud)

My circle lets people who invited each other see one another's latest shared feeling and level. It uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) under your own Apple account; SideBy has no server and we cannot see this data. When you use My circle, iCloud stores for each profile on your iPhone: the profile name, the latest shared feeling, level and reason, the time of the last "I need to talk", and the levels of the last 14 days. Entries marked "Only me" are never included. Replies such as "I'm here for you" are stored in the iCloud of the person they are sent to.

Anyone who opens your invitation link joins your circle, and you join theirs; send the link only to people you trust. You can see who has joined and remove anyone at any time. "Sign out and delete all data" also deletes your circle data from iCloud and leaves the circles you joined. Notifications for My circle are created on your iPhone from iCloud change signals and can be delayed; My circle is not an emergency service.

Connecting in person (nearby and QR code)

To connect with someone next to you, SideBy can find the other iPhone over Bluetooth and the local network, or you can scan the other person's QR code with the camera. Only the circle invitation is exchanged, directly between the two phones. The camera image is processed on your device only to read the code and is never stored or sent anywhere. Location is not used.

Contacts

If you pick someone from your contacts, iOS shows the contact picker and gives SideBy only the contact you select. SideBy keeps only the name and phone number you save. It does not read or upload your address book.

Apple Health

If you turn it on, SideBy writes the entries of one adult profile to the Health app as "State of Mind". SideBy does not read Health data. Entries of children's profiles are never written to Health. Health data is never used for advertising and never shared with third parties.

Notifications and Face ID

The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. If you turn on the app lock, Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is checked by iOS; SideBy never receives biometric data.

Backups

"Create backup" makes a file with your SideBy data. You decide where to save or send it. The file contains sensitive information, so keep it somewhere private. Restoring a backup only adds data on your device.

Purchases

SideBy Plus is bought through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether Plus is active.

Children

A parent or legal guardian can add a profile for a child and gives consent for it on the child's behalf. Teenagers decide what is shared from their own entries. Children's data is not used for any purpose other than the app's features on the family's own devices. In profiles for ages 4–12, settings, purchases, adding people and outside links are behind a parental gate. There are no ads and no third-party analytics.

Your choices

You can stop sharing with anyone at any time, delete people, delete a profile with all its entries, or delete the app, which removes all its data from the device. Because we do not hold your data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.

Yanımda, SideBy uygulamasının Türkçe adıdır. SideBy aileler, eşler ve arkadaşlar için bir duygu günlüğüdür. Kaygılı mı mutlu mu olduğunu ve ne kadar olduğunu (0–10) kaydedersin; istersen bunu yakınlarınla paylaşırsın. SideBy tıbbi bir cihaz değildir; herhangi bir durumu teşhis ya da tedavi etmez.

Kısaca

• Girişlerin kendi cihazlarında ve Çevrem'i kullanırsan kendi iCloud'unda saklanır. Sunucumuz yoktur ve verilerin bize gelmez.
• Sen paylaşmadıkça hiçbir şey paylaşılmaz.
• Reklam, analiz, izleme ya da veri satışı yoktur.

SideBy neyi, nerede saklar

SideBy iPhone'unda (ve eşli Apple Watch'unda) şunları saklar: profil adları ve yaş grupları; girişlerin (duygu, düzey, seçtiğin ya da yazdığın isteğe bağlı sebep, saat, saatten girilip girilmediği); "Konuşmaya ihtiyacım var" sinyalleri; "Beni kim duysun?" bölümüne eklediğin kişiler (yakınlık, isteğe bağlı ad ve telefon). Bu veriler cihazda kalır ve iOS veri korumasıyla korunur.

Seçtiğin kişilerle paylaşım

Bir girişi ya da daveti gönderdiğinde SideBy, metni hazır şekilde Mesajlar'ı, WhatsApp'ı ya da seçtiğin başka bir uygulamayı açar. Mesajı görür, gönderip göndermeyeceğine sen karar verirsin. Gönderilen mesaj o uygulama ve sağlayıcısı tarafından, onların gizlilik koşullarına göre işlenir. SideBy arka planda hiçbir şey göndermez.

Çevrem (iCloud)

Çevrem, birbirini davet eden kişilerin birbirinin son paylaşılan duygusunu ve düzeyini görmesini sağlar. Kendi Apple hesabın üzerinden Apple'ın iCloud (CloudKit) hizmetini kullanır; SideBy'ın sunucusu yoktur ve biz bu verileri göremeyiz. Çevrem'i kullandığında iCloud, iPhone'undaki her profil için şunları saklar: profil adı, son paylaşılan duygu, düzey ve sebep, son "Konuşmaya ihtiyacım var" zamanı ve son 14 günün düzeyleri. "Sadece ben" olarak işaretlenen girişler asla eklenmez. "Yanındayım" gibi cevaplar, gönderildiği kişinin iCloud'unda saklanır.

Davet linkini açan herkes çevrene katılır, sen de onunkine katılırsın; linki yalnızca güvendiğin kişilere gönder. Kimin katıldığını görebilir ve istediğin kişiyi istediğin an çıkarabilirsin. "Çıkış yap ve tüm verileri sil", Çevrem verilerini iCloud'dan da siler ve katıldığın çevrelerden ayrılır. Çevrem bildirimleri, iCloud değişiklik sinyallerinden iPhone'unda oluşturulur ve gecikebilir; Çevrem bir acil durum hizmeti değildir.

Yan yana bağlanma (yakındaki telefon ve QR kod)

Yanındaki biriyle bağlanmak için SideBy diğer iPhone'u Bluetooth ve yerel ağ üzerinden bulabilir ya da karşı tarafın QR kodunu kamerayla okutabilirsin. İki telefon arasında doğrudan yalnızca çevre daveti aktarılır. Kamera görüntüsü yalnızca kodu okumak için cihazında işlenir; asla kaydedilmez ya da bir yere gönderilmez. Konum kullanılmaz.

Rehber

Rehberden birini seçersen iOS kişi seçiciyi gösterir ve SideBy'a yalnızca seçtiğin kişiyi verir. SideBy yalnızca kaydettiğin ad ve telefonu tutar; rehberini okumaz ya da bir yere yüklemez.

Apple Sağlık

Açarsan SideBy, bir yetişkin profilin girişlerini Sağlık uygulamasına "Ruh Hali" olarak yazar. SideBy Sağlık verilerini okumaz. Çocuk profillerinin girişleri asla Sağlık'a yazılmaz. Sağlık verileri hiçbir zaman reklam için kullanılmaz ve üçüncü kişilerle paylaşılmaz.

Bildirimler ve Face ID

Günlük hatırlatma, cihazında planlanan yerel bir bildirimdir. Uygulama kilidini açarsan Face ID, Touch ID ya da şifren iOS tarafından kontrol edilir; SideBy biyometrik veri almaz.

Yedekler

"Yedek oluştur" SideBy verilerini içeren bir dosya hazırlar. Nereye kaydedileceğine ya da kime gönderileceğine sen karar verirsin. Dosya hassas bilgi içerir; güvenli bir yerde sakla. Yedeği geri yüklemek yalnızca cihazındaki verilere ekleme yapar.

Satın alımlar

Yanımda Plus, Apple'ın App Store'u üzerinden satın alınır. Ödemeyi tamamen Apple yapar; ödeme bilgilerini biz hiçbir zaman görmeyiz. Uygulama yalnızca Plus'ın etkin olup olmadığını Apple'a sorar.

Çocuklar

Bir çocuk için profili ebeveyn ya da yasal vasi ekler ve çocuk adına açık rızayı o verir. Ergenler kendi girişlerinden neyin paylaşılacağına kendileri karar verir. Çocukların verileri, ailenin kendi cihazlarındaki uygulama özellikleri dışında hiçbir amaçla kullanılmaz. 4–12 yaş profillerinde ayarlar, satın alma, kişi ekleme ve dış bağlantılar ebeveyn kontrolünün arkasındadır. Reklam ve üçüncü taraf analiz yoktur.

Seçimlerin

İstediğin an herhangi biriyle paylaşımı durdurabilir, kişileri silebilir, bir profili tüm girişleriyle silebilir ya da uygulamayı silerek tüm verilerini cihazdan kaldırabilirsin. Verilerini biz tutmadığımız için sunucuda silinecek bir şey yoktur.

Değişiklikler

Bu politika değişirse yeni hali yeni tarihle bu sayfada yayımlanır.
